Collaboration with artist Sergey Egorov (St. Petersburg, Russia)

«Is it time for humanity to give way to something different, something that will flourish on the ruins of our world?»

Acryl clots are shimmering disturbingly and throbbing with a viscous texture, like mushrooms, mildew, and mould – omnipresent and omnipotent. There is nothing they cannot desecrate.

«There is no other reason than desire, to convey the special music and beauty, the city’s most potent and timeless reality.»

Slime-like fog of urban vapours and atmosphere of fading life. Deconstructed portrait of artist’s native city.

Series of double and triple exposure digital photographs, capturing how urban environments are experienced.

The subjects of Marine Smith’s portraits retain their selfhood, yet become digital phantoms, a projection of emotions that were born during the shoot.
